Kung Pow - **
According to Box office magazine this movie is a "Zany parody". It's something all right. It's either the dumbest movie around or the most brilliant. It is incredibly over the top and possibly makes you dumber watching it. I don't know what else to say... it gets more over the top as it goes on. You definitly need to be in a different state of mind to watch this movie.
Dickie Roberts - ***
This movie's alright... nothing to write home about. It's funny, yes, with cameos from all the old child stars from the seventies and eighties...but it lacks the high level of sheer stupidity i enjoy. It's your basic child star growing up messed up... only discover that there is more to life than money, ladies and fame, And in the process helps out a family and falls in love... can you say BARF story....?
Slackers - **
Just one of many Van wilder, Road trip, American pie, college/male bonding movies. It's hardly a drop in the barrel of the genre. The point of this movie is that these three guys have done absolutely no work in college having cheated their way through. They are almost graduated when once again a girl messes things up. They could probably get by if it weren't for the slimy little thorn in their side. A goodly amount of bathroom humour, drugs and alcohol... second rate stars.
Sorority Boys - ***
Another second rate frat boy college story. This one has the guy from "Seventh Heaven" playing the part of a jackass fraternity guy who, with his buddies, are kicked out of their frat. So for some reason they decide to join the sorority accross the street. In the process of saving their professional asses, they dress as chicks and of course someone always falls in love, causing only trouble.
Going Greek - ** 1/2
Another college/male bonding/frat movie. This one has us rushing a frat with two cousins, one cool one, one not so cool. A girl gets in the way and jeopardizes both their chances. Will good overcome evil? will they work together for the greater good? How will it turn out...
Frankenthumb - ****
This movie is pure genius. What kind of person makes a whole movie with their thumb as a main character? This movie has everything, jokes, intrigue, fighting... it's amazing.

Another in the thumb series. It's great. Its the popular character of bat man in thumb form. These movies are from the same guy who brought you Kung Pow... if you've seen that, you won't be suprised. The good thing about the thumb movies is that they are only 1/2 hour. Just enough time to become fully saturated with craziness...

Cabbage Patch Kids Screen Test - ***1/2
This movie is absolutely genius. Its a feel good story about friends, working together and being yourself. Starring your old friends the Cabbage Patch Kids, in their own musical roles. Wait until the suprise at the end that explains the whole point of the movie. Hint: look at the leaves on the tree.
